- Matting of leather furniture upholstery. For matting, we recommend using MAVI STEP Abrasive Sponge. It prepares the leather for restoration, makes it matte, improves the adhesion of leather repair cream.
- Perform deep cleaning of the leather of the sofa or other furniture. For deep cleaning, we recommend using MAVI STEP Total Cleaner. This cleaner is a concentrate, so dilute it with water in a ratio of 1:6 before use. After that, dip a sponge into the solution and clean the leather upholstery.
- Polish the leather upholstery of the furniture. As soon as the material dries after cleaning with MAVI STEP Total Cleaner, polish it with a brush.
- Restore the leather upholstery at the structural level. This step is important if your leather furniture has not been cared for at all or very rarely. Otherwise, you can skip this step and go to the next one.

We recommend applying MAVI STEP Cream Softener not only on the damaged area of the sofa, but on its entire surface. This will protect the leather from further destruction under the influence of high mechanical loads. To apply the product use a sponge, a piece of cotton cloth or a MAVI STEP Chamoisine shoe cloth.
- Additionally, matting the leather upholstery of the furniture. Has 24 hours passed since the application of MAVI STEP Cream Softener? After the leather repair cream is completely dry, carefully polish the leather surface of the furniture with a soft cloth.
